Lawrence, an English model, body activist, and the founding editor of Runway Riot, is probably best known here in the states for her campaign with Aerie, where she posed for un-retouched photos as part of the brand's #AerieREAL initiative, celebrating all body types. Her TED talk, which hit the web on February 6, discusses not only the importance of accepting your body as is, but also about how social media's perception of the "perfect life" is damaging to women's self esteem and the need for self love.
